Happy Birthday Grandpa Des!
We just put your card in the mail yesterday so it'll be a few days late. We wish we could celebrate with you. We do hope you and Jan can come for a visit next month! You'll enjoy New Castle and our new place there...no more sleeping in a basement! We love you so very much. You are a true gift to our family and I couldn't ask for a better father-in-law. Our children have an amazing and Godly heritage in you. Thank you for loving your wife and children and grandchildren in word and deed. You mean so much to us.
I asked the kids what they like about you:
Levi: "He gives candy. He gave us the stevia. And he gave us his favorite lotion and bubble bath."
Emma: "He is sweet and kind. He's the best grandpa in the whole world. And he loves me."
Owen: "He gives us awesome gifts. He's a little funny. He plays games with us and reads to us."
Hope: "He's kind and generous. He loves us. He does special things with us."

Nice tribute Rose! Hey how come Des always has more hair than I do? I was born without hair and never really acquired too much as I got older:-) Praying for you guys to have a smooth move and a safe journey to the new place.
